And when we started submitting our favourite hardware to have rattled aroundbeneath seats or at the bottom of backpacks, the stories that came out were as good as the assembled tools. The allen key that did 100 miles as aclutch lever, the MTB ratchet set stolen froma cycling uncle, the trusty maglite (try holding an iphone between your teeth), the fuse you never replenished…
